The Padmanath Gohainbaruah School of Humanities at KKHSOU has been successfully conducting the Online Certificate Course in Japanese Language and Culture (CJLC), which is first of its kind in the entire North East of India.
The CJLC is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Japan’s language, traditions and contemporary society. Blending linguistic proficiency with cultural insights, this course equips students with practical communication skills and deep knowledge of Japan’s heritage. Ideal for students and professionals, the CJLC programme prepares participants for academic, cultural or professional engagements with Japan, fostering cross-cultural competence and global perspectives in a rapidly interconnected world.
This course is being taught by Dr. Sweety Gupta, a trained teacher of Japanese language and culture and co-ordinated by Prof. Prasenjit Das, from the Discipline of English at KKHSOU.
